ClockSkew has been at it again and found hidden disabled patches inside the Quartz Composer framework that can be reenabled. The future for modding Quartz Composer is looking brighter all the time….

BPM Tap Macro

View more…Many people might not have seen this because it’s on a japanese quartz composer page (google translate is your friend!), but there is a very useful BPM Tap macro available that samples a BPM rate by hitting space four times then provides a beat interval and BPM feed to other patches.

It’s not obvious how to change the speed of a Quicktime playing in Quartz Composer and it’s even harder to smoothly change speed to allow “video scratching” style effects.

Quartonian 0.3 has a cleaned up interface, fx processing resolution toggle, RSS version check and more improvements. Should be much more usable for people with non-core image accelerated graphics cards.
